Gaëtan began his career with Janssen in France 18 years ago; holding a range of positions across the organisation in both the US and Europe, before assuming the position of Managing Director for Janssen UK & Ireland in 2019.
Prior to joining the UK organisation, Gaëtan lived in Hungary where he spent three years leading Janssen Central Europe.
In March 2020, Gaëtan was elected onto the ABPI Board and with a seat on the UK-US business council and several years’ experience working in Janssen’s R&D business, Gaëtan is keen for the UK to create an environment where innovators are encouraged to experiment and find new ways to bring breakthrough treatments to patients.
Gaëtan is also a firm believer in the importance of collaboration. Throughout his career, he has worked together with biotech firms and built partnerships with other pharmaceutical companies to collate innovation and knowledge in order to drive access, empower patients and help create sustainable healthcare systems.
Gaëtan holds a bachelor’s degree in BA from the ESSEC Business School and a MBA from Warwick Business School.
